Paula Diana Cascio

Paula Cascio, born on November 11, 1963, in Wesleyville, Newfoundland, Canada, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas.

Paula dedicated many years of service to the Nutritional Services Department of Lumberton Independent School District before retiring. Throughout her life, she appreciated simple moments and experienced many milestones, including the births of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ann Mitchell, Winter Smith, Lucas Cascio, and Sarah Cascio; several grandchildren; and her siblings, Glenn Winter, Judi Barnes, and Karen Martin.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Drucilla Winter.

She will be remembered by those whose lives she touched throughout the years, and her memory will remain with her family and friends.

I meet Paula when I started working at Lumberton ISD kitchen, without a doubt she was the HARDEST & fastest worker I’ve ever had the privilege working with. She was such a sweet & funny lady. She will be missed. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
