A Life Remembered
Obituary
Randolph Lee Miller, a devoted servant of God and country, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, in Beaumont, TX, at the age of 73. Randy was born in Richmond, Virginia and dedicated his life to caring for others and spreading faith.
Randy proudly served his nation in the United States Army 3rd Infantry Division being stationed in Germany. Like many men at that time, he worked in the refineries and later worked 10 years at Lifeway Christian Bookstore. He continued his calling as a spiritual leader, graduating from Wisdom Bible Institute in Orange, TX, and going on to serve as a compassionate Chaplain at Harbor Hospice. He also touched many lives as the beloved Pastor at Church on the Rock in Sour Lake, where his guidance and wisdom were cherished by his congregation for 21 years.
Anyone who knew Randy was touched by his life through his wise counsel, his ministry, his prayers, his compassion and friendship. His answer for any situation would always be "What does the Word say?"
His influence on lives reaches farther than he could have ever imagined. He carried himself with the goal of one day hearing "Well done good and faithful servant."
He is survived by his loving wife, Emmie Miller; his daughters, Tiffany Doyen of Beaumont, TX, and Tamara Cerda of Vidor, TX; and his son, Trey Hamilton of Port Acres, TX. Randy also leaves behind his daughter-in-law, Ellen Stutzenbaker of Port Acres, TX. He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Joan Piercy of Mechanicsville, VA, Robin Outhouse of Port Neches, TX, and Rose Cleland of Corrigan, TX, and his aunt, Dee Lovelace of Douglasville, GA. His memory will be cherished by his granddaughter, Rebecca Doyen of Honolulu, Hawaii, and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Baird Outhouse; his stepfather, Stanley Outhouse; and his twin brother, Ray S. Miller.
A memorial service to honor Randy will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Golden Triangle Church On The Rock located at 6355 US 69 Beaumont, Texas, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Randy's legacy of faith, service, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes in Orange.
